When I made my transition from yoga to strength training years ago, kettlebells were my gateway. The technique and skill based learning spoke to my movement interests at the time. Kettlebells provided an accessible introduction to resistance training in a fun environment. I still use them as a valuable component to my own training and in the physical therapy rehab setting. Join me to learn more about these versatile tools for improving strength, power, mobility, coordination, and metabolic conditioning.

GREG LEHMAN: Reconciling Biomechanics with Pain Science — IN PERSON

Practice Human 28 W 27th St, New York, NY, United States

At its simplest, this is a BIOMECHANICS and PAIN SCIENCE course. Ideally, we've distilled the best of both to get the best approach to pain and injury management.

Reconciling Biomechanics with Pain Science is a two-day course that mixes a lecture, case study and hands-on learning format. This course has been taught throughout the world with the aim of simplifying the biomechanical approach to injury and pain management. A simplified, yet strongly evidenced based biomechanical approach, allows the therapist to develop skills that address all areas of the biopsychosocial contributors to the pain experience.
