Physical Therapy

Our goal at Practice Human is to provide quality physical therapy for all our patients. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations take away time and resources from our practice, staff, other patients who would like to schedule in your place, and your own progress due to unexpected gaps in your PT treatment plan. Please be aware of our policy regarding missed appointments.

If you know that you’ll arrive late or must miss your appointment, please call our office as soon as possible: 646-609-3995, email us at hello@practicehuman.com, or cancel your appointment through your PtEverywhere portal.

We require 24 hours advance notice for canceled appointments.

Fee for late cancellations and no-shows:
A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is canceled less than 24 hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when a patient misses an appointment without canceling.

MEDICARE:

Late cancellations will result in a $50.00 fee. This $50.00 is paid out of pocket and cannot be reimbursed by Medicare.

NON-MEDICARE:

For patients not covered by Medicare, no-shows and cancelations made less than 24 hours before your visit will be charged the full appointment costs ($280 Initial Evaluation, $220 Follow-up, $220 Movement Coaching, or forfeiture of the visit from your package). The No-show fee is paid out of pocket and cannot be reimbursed by any out-of-network insurance policy.
