THIS IS DURABILITY FOR LIFE
Movement accessible to everyone
Caitlin challenges you to work clearly and with stability, helping you to strengthen your joints. Her classes have helped me feel more capable as I go through my day. I love that she offers a variety of household objects as props. It makes movement accessible to everyone. It also changes my relationship to movement. Using familiar objects makes me realize how I can incorporate more movement into my everyday life.
I trust her 100%
“I have the good fortune of having known Caitlin for several years, first as my strength trainer, and now as my physical therapist. I feel very grateful to have her as a reliable resource, especially as my body is aging, and needs more attention than it used to.
She is consistently smart, empathic, skilled, and empowering in all of our work together. She is a clear communicator, an open listener, and is warm, funny and kind. I trust her 100% to make thorough and accurate assessments, and to provide me with exercises that not only provide quick relief for my aches and pains, but also help me feel more embodied, centered, and powerful. I cannot recommend Caitlin highly enough, she is truly a rare gem!”
I can’t speak highly enough
I can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Casella. After my first session with her, I felt immediate relief from the pain in my ankle and was suddenly able to walk without a limp. Since then, all of my sessions with Dr. Casella have been similarly relieving, effective, and informative. She has a really excellent bedside manner- both friendly and extremely professional. I count myself very lucky to have her as my physical therapist.
Helped me understand
I went to Caitlin for help rehabbing my quad after I strained it sprinting. She did a great job helping me understand the degree of my injury and giving me exercises to help regain strength and mobility so I could return to my normal athletic activities. Super capable, helpful, and responsive team, I highly recommend!
Caitlin’s teaching is informed and enriched by her in-depth studies of human movement. So she’s able to meet the needs of a wide variety of practitioners and keep things fresh and interesting.
From unable to stand to running
For my 31st birthday I got a pinched nerve in my back and under the supervision of Caitlin, I went from being unable to stand on one leg to running after a few months. I’m lucky my pinched nerve wasn’t as severe as it could have been, but either way the attention to detail from the team was everything I could have wanted while I was battling a scary back injury and working to get back to 100%.
Grateful for weekly classes
I’m loving your strength and somatics classes and am so grateful that you’re teaching them. Whenever I’ve visited a good physical therapist, I’ve always thought how great it would be if they taught weekly classes about how to move safely, efficiently and with intelligence. Not only are you doing that, you also make it fun! I particularly like it when you giggle at your own jokes.
Expert hands-on help
Have been working with Caitlin since September 2021. She has been instrumental in helping me get back to prime physical condition for the first time in years. She provides expert hands on adjustments and exercises to alleviate pain and strengthen muscles. Just hurt my lower back again playing volleyball and immediately am scheduling an appointment with her to help get back on track.
I had so much fun
Thank you for the fantastic series! I had so much fun doing these elemental moves—it reminded me of how easily and naturally I used to move as a kid, and how much fun it is to explore the body in space. Thank you also for the reminder to observe how something feels rather than judge it.
